I have today seen a shower tent with a hold up 5 litre water holder. I though that it might be great for our forthcoming rally. Although the water would be fairly cold, it might be better than nothing at all. Would there be any user's if I ...

New book for club library....ENGLAND'S STRIKING HISTORY, A BRIEF HISTORY OF ENGLAND AND ITS SILVER HAMMERED COINAGE.
150 PAGES OF ALL THE HAMMERED COINS WITH LEGENDS EXPLAINED.

A really great book.

Congratulations to club member Shawn who found a hoard of 31 and a half silver hammereds, and one unusual quater cut hammered gold on Thursday. Pictures to follow, the coins will be on show at the next club meeting.

This George IV Sovereign was found this morning and brought to my house to id by a new member. It took me 12 years to find my one and only gold coin.

I have spoken to the farmer of club site 5 who tells me that although his field has been deep ploughed it should soon be rolled and still availible for a short period. Please keep off it when the maze crop starts to show. Laughing
